As a child, I loved tumbling into new worlds where imagination knew no bounds. The loss of my brother matured my writing to experiment with life and death.

In my 7th grade English course, we studied world-building through Neil Gaimon's Caroline. When we received our short story assignment, the first world that came to mind was the afterlife. I was interested in understanding how young children cope with life and death. 

The Last Supper

Growing up, I was the kid who wrote a lot. In this story, I wanted to challenge myself to compose a short but compelling environmental piece.
